The visiting Red Sox ended their seven-game losing streak in a 4-3 victory over the Mariners on Tuesday night at Safeco Field. Dustin Pedroia extended his hitting streak to 15 games in the win.

The Red Sox edged the Mariners at Safeco Field on Tuesday night. Jon Lester picked up the win after allowing three runs on nine hits over six innings of work. Cody Ross's three-run homer tied the game at three in the sixth, and later in the inning Ryan Lavarnway scored the go-ahed run with a solo home run as Boston dropped Seattle 4-3. In the win, Dustin Pedoria extended his hit streak to 15-games.
