Mahan Takes 2-Shot Lead at Congressional

Hunter Mahan shot a six-under 65 and took over the lead in Round 2 of the AT&T National on Friday. Tournament host Tiger Woods is tied for 11th. Mahan is going for his third PGA win of the year.

Tiger Woods pulled himself back into contention after shooting a 3-under 68 at the AT&T National, at Congressional in Bethesda, Maryland. (Live Call) Woods sank in a long eagle putt on the 16th hole for a -1. Meanwhile, Hunter Mahan capped off one of the better performances of the afternoon. (Live Call) Mahan finished with the lowest single round score of any player so far at the tournmanet and ended the day in impressive fashion. (Live Call) The 30-year-old finished the afternoon with seven birdies for a 6-under 65 and sits atop the leaderboard by two strokes.The 2012 AT&T National will continue tomorrow with a 3pm eastern tee time on CBS.
