Struggling Red Sox Fall to Indians

Adrian Gonzalez gave the Red Sox a 2-1 lead with a two-run double, but the bullpen could not hold the lead as the Sox fell to the Indians, 5-2. Boston has lost four of its last five games.

The Indians used a strong start from Zack McAllister to down the Red Sox on Saturday. McAllister tossed a career high eight innings, allowing just two runs on an Adrian Gonzalez double in the fourth to secure his fifth win of the season. The right hander struck out four while scattering three hits. Former Red Sock Brent Lillibrdige led the Cleveland offense, blasting a homer with two RBI off Franklin Morales, who took the loss for Boston after five and a third. Morales walked four and struck out six as the Indians balled up the Sox, 5-2.
