The Angels rallied to defeat the Red Sox in Anaheim on Tuesday night to snap their seven-game home skid against Boston. Jered Weaver's bid for a major-league best 17th win was denied as the right-hander was tagged for five runs and seven hits over seven innings. Jarrod Saltalamacchia homered and drove in two to help the Red Sox jump out to a 5-2 lead after five-and-a-half. But the Halos' bats would chip away from there. Albert Pujols, playing for the first time since Wednesday due to a right calf injury, belted a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. Then, trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Mike Trout tied the game with an RBI single off Alfredo Aceves and Torii Hunter followed up with a sacrifice fly that gave L.A. the 6-5 come-from-behind-victory.
