The Red Sox completed a three game sweep of the Marlins thanks to a big day from third baseman Will Middlebrooks. Middlebrooks went 3-for-4 with a big two run homer in the 8th to tie the game at five before Daniel Nava drove in the go-ahead run with a single to center. Dice-K Matsuzaka lasted only five and a third, striking out four in the no decision while his counterpart Carlos Zambrano faired no better, striking out three over five innings as the Sox won their fifth straight game, 6-5 over the Fish.
