Cook, Boston Red Sox Lit Up by Yankees

The Yankees clobbered the Red Sox in Ichiro Suzuki's home debut at Yankee Stadium. Ichiro went 1-4 and scored two runs in his first game in pinstripes. Boston starter Aaron Cook was torched for six earned runs in only four innings of work while his counterpart Phil Hughes improved to 10-8 on the season after striking out five in seven innings of work. Raul Ibanez and Russell Martin hit two-run shots while Curtis Granderson blasted and 8th inning grand slam to put the game out of reach as the Yankees rolled to the 10-3 victory over the Red Sox.
