Ross, Boston Red Sox Crush White Sox

Cody Ross hit two three-run homers to lead the Red Sox to a 10-1 win over the Chicago White Sox. Before the game, Boston placed designated hitter David Ortiz on the 15-day disabled list.

The Red Sox crushed the White Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday night. Felix Doubront tossed six innings allowing just one run on four hits to improve to 10-4 on the season. Pedro Hernandez took the loss in his major league debut, giving up eight runs on 12 hits in four plus innings. Cody Ross led the Boston attack going 3-for-5 with two homer runs and six RBI as the Red Sox cruised past the White Sox 10-1.
