Kevin Millwood and five Seattle relievers combined on a no-hitter as the Mariners dropped the Dodgers 1-0 at Safeco Field on Friday night. Millwood cruised through six innings giving up just one walk while striking out six before leaving with a groin injury. Five relievers combined to finish the no-hitter, the third in franchise history and the fourth in the majors this season. This marks the 10th combined no-hitter in MLB history, the last occurred in 2003 when six Houston Astros no-hit the Yankees in New York.
