Boston Celtics Fail to Rally Past 76ers

Despite Rajon Rondo’s 20 assists, the Boston Celtics fell to the Philadelphia 76ers, 106-100. The Celtics are 2-3, and their only victories of the season have come against the winless Wizards.

Jrue Holiday and the 76ers traveled to TD Garden to tip with the Celtics. Nick Young's monster slam gave Philadelphia a 13-point lead midway through the second, but Boston fought back all night. Rajon Rondo found Kevin Garnett with the alley-oop as the Celtics trailed by six late in the fourth, however this game belonged to the Sixers. Thaddeus Young's late bucket was more than enough as Philadelphia won their second straight game 106-100 over Boston.
