The stands were empty at MetLife Stadium as the lowly Jets took on the Cardinals. Mark Sanchez's performance was atrocious and the boo birds were out in full force. After gaining only 97 yards on just ten passes, and throwing three interceptions, Sanchez was benched in the third quarter in favor of third string backup Greg McElroy. To the Fan's delight, McElroy came out strong scoring his first career touchdown on his first possession. Though McElroy's numbers were not impressive, completing 5 of 7 pass attempts for 29 yards and the touchdown, he displayed an ability to keep drives alive, lifting Gang Green past the Cards, 7-6.
